The idea of object, material and environment is central to my work, be the objects found or placed in a natural environment or within our own man made habitats. How we interact within nature and our attempts to contain, harness or even contribute to it though objects is exciting to me, I try to translate this in the work I do at the moment.
I try to approach my work in an experimental way and have a strong relationship with material and process as well as the landscape i find myself in. I am open to embracing new techniques in my work and value opportunity’s to pass on these skills as well as learn and work with a range other people.
My work is designed to be functional yet playful
